Emory University is now accepting applications from African health care innovators for the 2019 Advancing Health Care Development in Africa (AHIA) Conference in Johannesburg. AHIA is a multi-phase program that includes a three-day summertime conference and continuous recommendations from leading specialists in science, service, and law.
AHIA’s objective is to deal with and resolve unmet medical requirements in Africa, by supporting and promoting the development of health development and innovations. They do so by encouraging, informing, and training African innovators in business and legal elements of the health care sector.
At the conference, Development Teams including researchers and trainees are formed for each innovation. The Development Teams team up for the whole of the conference to develop an advancement strategy and deal with a few of the most important difficulties dealing with African health care systems.
After the conference, a restricted variety of Development Teams will be chosen to get continuous recommendations to assist shift developments from the lab to market. This might included extra travel to consult with market specialists or prospective financiers.
