Applications are welcomed for the AFRIKA KOMMT Fellowship Program 2019-2021 The program trains young, future supervisors from Sub-Saharan Africa on-site with German business.

The AFRIKA KOMMT! fellowship program targets at extremely certified, self-driven young experts and junior executives from Sub Saharan Africa with a number of years of hands-on work experience, strong management qualities and an extremely high level of dedication and devotion.

The main point behind the effort is to develop a win-win-situation for the program individuals and the partnering business. Therefore, the effort lays the structure stone for sustainable financial cooperation with Africa and targets at forming steady cooperative collaborations for the future.


The fellowship covers expense for

  • A private German language course prior to departure to Germany
  • An extensive German language course in Germany consisting of costs, lodging and living allowance
  • Visa for Germany for one year
  • Roundtrip air travel from your house town to Germany and back
  • Travel to refresher course and back
  • Program-related taking a trip costs in Germany
  • Month-to-month living allowance of EUR 750 (August, September and October 2019; July 2020)
  • One-off moving cost of EUR 1,000 for kicking back into the house nations
  • Month-to-month income throughout the internship in the business of approx. EUR 1,500 gross


  • Candidates need to have a university degree in an appropriate subject;-LRB- **************).

  • Have 2 to 5 years of pertinent work experience;-LRB- **************).
  • Exceptional English language abilities;-LRB- **************).
