APWLD is a local network of ladies’s organisations and activists in Asia Pacific, devoted to ladies’s human rights and feminist motions. APWLD’s members are drawn from 27 nations and the Secretariat is based in Chiang Mai, Thailand with a satellite workplace based in Penang, Malaysia.

Positions

APWLD is presently welcoming ladies from Asia Pacific nations (particularly from the sub-regions of the Pacific, East Asia, Central Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia) with pertinent experience and abilities to request the following 6 interesting positions:

  1. Program Officer for APWLD’s Migration Program
  2. Program Officer for APWLD’s Breaking Out Of Marginalisation (BOOM) Program
  3. Program Officer for APWLD’s Environment Justice Program
  4. Tracking and Examination Officer
  5. Research Study and Publication Partner
  6. Program Partner

The effective candidates will deal with their dedicated Secretariat to support an effective network of ladies’s rights organisations, motions and activists throughout the area.

Eligibility

  • Open to ladies from Asia Pacific nations

Choice Requirements for Program Officers (Migration, Environment Justice and BOOM programs)

  1. Demonstrated dedication to the promo of ladies’s human rights in Asia Pacific. Experience in dealing with a movement-based organisation such as feminist motions, native individuals, farmers, migrants, employees, fisherfolk, dalits, LBTQI, or other motions is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  2. Experience and understanding of (feminist), participatory action research study with grassroots organisations and their neighborhoods;-LRB- *************).
  3. A degree in law; social and governments; human rights, economics, advancement, environment or ladies’s research studies;-LRB- *************).
  4. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in advancement work and ladies’s rights at the nationwide, local level or worldwide level;-LRB- *************).
  5. Understanding of worldwide human rights, migration, land rights, environment and environment, and advancement concerns in Asia Pacific;-LRB- *************).
  6. Thorough understanding of the political, financial and socio-cultural environments in the area. Experience in policy analysis is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  7. Experience in arranging and assisting in training/capacity structure activities;-LRB- *************).
  8. High level task management such as program preparation, application, budgeting, tracking and assessment;-LRB- *************).
  9. Experience in sub-grant management is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  10. Shown capability to deal with a varied, subscription driven network;-LRB- *************).
  11. Outstanding command of English language, both oral and composed and shown capability to compose for motions in addition to program reports and task propositions. Efficiency in another language aside from English is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  12. Great social abilities, with capability to network in a multi-cultural environment and to establish strong expert relationships with members and other stakeholders;-LRB- *************).

Choice Requirements for Tracking and Examination Officer

  1. Demonstrated dedication to the promo of ladies’s human rights in Asia Pacific;-LRB- *************).
  2. A degree in social and governments; human rights, ladies’s research studies or other pertinent disciplines;-LRB- *************).
  3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in advancement work and ladies’s rights at the nationwide, local level or worldwide level;-LRB- *************).
  4. Experience and understanding of feminist tracking, assessment and knowing (MEL) techniques and techniques. Experience in feminist MEL system style and application is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  5. Tested understanding on various tracking and assessment structures and tracking tools is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  6. Thorough understanding of the political, financial and socio-cultural environments in the area;-LRB- *************).
  7. High level task management abilities consisting of program preparation, application, tracking and assessment;-LRB- *************).
  8. Shown capability to deal with a varied, subscription driven network;-LRB- *************).

  2. A degree in law; social and governments; human rights, advancement, interaction, or ladies’s research studies;-LRB- *************).
  3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in advancement work or ladies’s human rights at the nationwide, local or worldwide level. Experience in dealing with grassroots ladies human rights protectors and/or their network is a possession;-LRB- *************).
  4. Experience in desk research study, legal research study, qualitative and quantitative research study abilities, and capability to evaluate and review financial, social and advancement policies;-LRB- *************).
  5. Experience and understanding of (Feminist) Participatory Action Research Study (PAR) and participatory assistance with grassroots organisations and their neighborhoods is a possession;-LRB- *************).
