T HE AFRICAN WOMEN’S ADVANCEMENT FUND (AWDF) WELCOMES AFRICAN WOMEN WRITERS AND JOURNALISTS TO OBTAIN THE AFRICAN WOMEN’S AUTHORS WORKSHOP2019 THIS 10- DAY WRITING WORKSHOP OCCURS IN GHANA, FROM 21 ST OCTOBER 2019 TO 30 TH OCTOBER 2019.
This workshop is targeted at females authors, reporters and activists who want to step-up their participation in highlighting concerns around females’s rights and social justice and who want toimprove and practice their individual writing abilities. Individuals will be anticipated to check out extensively from appointed picked texts, and to finish everyday composing workouts.
After the workshop, the individuals are anticipated to utilize the understanding gotten to compose extensively about social justice concerns in and beyond their neighborhoods. Candidates need to satisfy the list below requirements ·

Be a feminist or females’s rights activist ·
Have high efficiency in English (spoken and composed) ·
Be a skilled author (released or unpublished) ·
Be readily available to take a trip to Ghana and remain for the whole 10- daysession
Girls authors in between ages 21-35 are specifically motivated to use.
Top priority will be provided to interested females authors (fiction & nonfiction) reporters, academics who want to actively participate in females’s rights advocacy.
