Applications for the Bayer Structure International Fellowship Program 2019 are now open. The Bayer Fellowship Program targets trainees and apprentices in clinical and medical disciplines. Its objective is to support the next generation of scientists and instructors as they participate in “Science for a Better Life”.

The Fellowship Program includes 5 scholarship programs that use customized financial backing. Crucial requirements for the assistance: The task to be supported need to be ingenious and global. Scholarships are given to trainees and young experts (approximately 2 years after graduation) from Germany wanting to understand a research study or research study task abroad or to foreign students/young experts pursuing a task in Germany.

Eligibility

  • Trainees and young experts in the fields of biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals and computational life sciences can get the Otto Bayer Scholarship
  • Trainees and young experts in the fields of human and veterinary medication, medical science, medical engineering, public health and health economics can get the Carl Duisberg Scholarship
  • Trainees and young experts in the fields of agro sciences, digital farming, agronomy, crop sciences, green biotechnology, ecological sciences and sustainability can get the Jeff Schell Scholarship
  • Trainee instructors in biology and chemistry (approximately Master’s degree level) can get the Kurt Hansen Scholarship. Here, the focus is on research study jobs, internships, summertime courses along with additional core curricula
  • Apprentices and young experts in non-academic occupations can get the Hermann Strenger Scholarship. Here, foreign projects like jobs, internships, additional courses or on-the-job projects in the following fields remain in focus:.
    • Professions in health care
    • Technical or clinical professions
    • Service administration

Application

The following application files are needed for the Otto Bayer Scholarship, Carl Duisberg Scholarship, Jeff Schell Scholarship and Kurt Hansen Scholarship:

  • Verification letter from the foreign host institute/university on the prepared task from September 2019 to August 2020
  • A description of the task (period of 2-12 months) with monetary strategy within the timeline of September 2018 to August 2019.
  • The task can include unique research study courses, lab projects, research study jobs, summertime classes, internships,
  • Master’s or PhD programs.
  • Newest records
  • Any extra files that would boost the application
  • Task application picture (no picture of your passport, please)
  • CV
  • The quantity per fellowship is private, however minimal per EUR20,000 per demand.

For the Hermann Strenger Scholarship, candidates need to send the following:

  • Verification letter from the foreign host institute/university on the prepared task from September 2019 to August 2020
  • Newest records with excellent to exceptional grades
  • A description of the task (period of 2-12 months) with monetary strategy. The task can include unique research study courses, lab projects, research study jobs, summertime classes or internships
  • Task application picture (no picture of your passport, please)
