Applications are welcomed for the British Council Workshop 2019 on Effect of Gunshot Injuries on Muscle Regrowth Under the Scientist Hyperlinks plan used within the Newton Fund, the British Council, CONFAP, and FAPESP, they will be holding a workshop at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil from June 26-28, 2019.

This workshop will deal with an essential humanitarian emergency situation in Brazil associated to the skyrocketing occurrence of gunshot-related injuries that are ravaging lives. The workshop will integrate subjects of injury and muscle regrowth by particularly attending to gunshot-induced neuromuscular problems in relation to: 1) the instant effect; 2) the rehab; 3) the persistent effect; and 4) alternative healing alternatives.

These subjects will be resolved throughout keynote lectures, committed oral sessions, and assisted poster discussions. Casual breakout sessions will likewise be consisted of, in addition to casual social and cultural activities. The organizers especially welcome applications from fundamental and scientific researchers with a proficiency on neuromuscular dysfunction, muscle regrowth, and/or injury.
