The Cross-Border Investigative Journalism Training for the Western Balkans 2019 is open for applications. The Center for Media, Data, and Society at the School of Public Law at Central European University in Budapest welcomes reporters in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia with some experience in investigative reporting to get a special hybrid-style online and offline course on cross-border investigative journalism.

The course will begin with an extensive two-day training in Belgrade, Serbia, on December 10-11, 2019, followed by 8 weeks of online guideline.

The course intends to

  • gear up press reporters with enhanced abilities of the current investigative reporting strategies to be able to research study, conduct and present region-specific cross-border examinations;-LRB- *******************).
