Applications are open for the International AIDS Society (IAS) Advocacy-for-Cure Academy 2019 The Towards an HIV Remedy effort of the International AIDS Society (IAS), in collaboration with AVAC, is arranging an Advocacy-for-Cure Academy in Botswana on April 29– May 1, 2019.
The Advocacy-for-Cure Academy will award fellowships to around 25 impressive candidates who are operating in the HIV field in resource-limited settings and who have an interest in HIV cure-related advocacy. They will register in a three-day training and advancement course on HIV treatment advocacy.
Through workshops and sessions, networking chances with leaders in the field and job work, the interactive course will supply the tools and resources for fellows to:
- Establish their research study literacy in HIV treatment.
- Improve and strengthen their advocacy and engagement abilities.
Picked fellows will be granted:
- Enrolment in the Advocacy-for-Cure Academy
- Travel to Botswana
- Lodging and meals
- Ground transport
- Course products
- Open to supporters presently operating in the HIV field in resource-limited settings and who have an interest in reinforcing their HIV cure-related advocacy or engagement.
The choice committee will take into consideration the prospects’ experience, their inspiration to operate in the HIV treatment field, and their prospective to use the understanding got at the academy in their work.
