The L’Oréal-UNESCO for Ladies in Science Sub-Saharan Africa program intends to promote and motivate young African ladies in science. This program determines and rewards skilled young female researchers in the field of Official sciences, Life sciences, Environmental sciences, Physical sciences, Engineering and Technological sciences.

To date, the majority of the applications got for this local program, came primarily from South Africa. Thinking about the significance of supporting African clinical research study and our dedication to empowering more female researchers from throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, we chose to separate the preliminary local program into 2 programs:

– A brand-new nationwide program for South Africa-The local program for the 48 other nations of the Sub-Saharan area

Beginning With this 10 th edition, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Ladies in Science Sub-Saharan Africa program will commemorate 20 young female researchers (15 doctorates and 5 post-doctorates) rather of 14 young female researchers the years prior to, for the quality of their research study and motivate them to pursue a dazzling profession in science in any Sub-Saharan African nation (Appendix 1).

Awards

Eligibility Requirements
