Applications are open for the Magnum Structure Photography and Social Justice Fellowship 2020 The Fellowship broadens variety and imagination in the field of documentary photography through capacity-building and crucial expeditions of photography and social modification.

Each year, the program supports a varied, worldwide group of Photography and Social Justice Fellows who are enthusiastic about challenging oppression, pursuing social equality, and advancing human rights through photography. Aspects of the Program

  • Task Advancement and Frameworks: March– May 2020: These preliminary bi-weekly online sessions offer conceptual foundation for the training and an online forum for the Fellows to establish their job concepts.
  • New York City Session 1: June 1–30, 2020: The very first session in New york city City is a 4 week training hosted by CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism.
