The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) i nvites applications from female Nigerian expert reporters (fulltime or freelancer) who want ethical journalism, are devoted to outstanding expert media practice, have excellent concepts to lead vibrant enhancements on the practice, and have at least 3 years’ experience in the newsroom, for the 2019 Female Press Reporters’ Management Fellowship.

Tentative training dates: Tuesday 2 to Friday 5 July 2019

The Female Press Reporters’ Management Fellowship is a program created to gear up female reporters with the abilities, skill, assistance and tools to take strong actions that will assist place them for the greatest management positions in their different media homes. In addition to the total goals, the program likewise mobilises a network of female reporters, who are oriented for management. In addition, it produces a train-the-trainer group who much better value the significance of mainstreaming gender in news. The direct exposure will involve a four-day training, three-month mentorship, 2 share-fairs and fellowship projects.
